Free forex charts

ForEx Charts is an inherent part of ForEx technical analysis. In fact, it’s up to you what charts to use. These are the most famous varitants:

Tick Chart

The most simple chart that reflects every quotation. It looks like a simple line. And this chart has nothing to do with time.

Bar Chart

It’s a vertical line that indicates the highest and the lowest price. There are also two horizontal lines – one shows the opening price (on the left side of the bar), another shows the closing price (on the right side).

Candlesticks

Very similar to bar charts, but candlesticks also have a body. Its color depends on the price fluctuations. It’s while if the price has increased and it’s black if the price has decreased.
One more peculiarity is that the bars have shadows that reflect the highest and the lowest price of the trading day.

As you gain experience you will need to know other chart types – kagi, renko, points & figures.

These are the elements that you can see at almost any chart:
  • Trend Lines

Just shows the direction. There can be two types of trends: ascending and descending.
  • Channel

Consists of two lines that are support and resistance. These lines form a channel.
